Nowadays Galileo line is enriched by a new software release dedicated to acquisition, reviewing and processing of electroencephalographic signals.

The creation of a new release is due to the need of renewal that wants to meet the most widely spread requirements from both clinical and research activity performed by neurologists and neurophysiologists.

Hospitals and poly-functional Research Centres actually think that integration between a traditional electroencephalographic approach and a specialized one, as Intensive Care Unit labs or Operative Rooms, is fundamental,  as well as making the easiest and the most comfortable long neurophysiological recordings.

EEG NET allows long term EEG recordings with the chance of an on-line monitoring remote review station, provided with Quantitative on-line EEG analysis:

Spectral Trends (Relative and Total Power, Power Ratio),
Frequency Trends (Spectral Edge Frequency, Median),
Amplitude Trends (Burst Suppression).

EEG interpretation is not so easy to diagnose for nurses and ICU operators, but it has been assessed that a contextual display of raw EEG and QEEG, by means of bar trends (histograms) can be a step to bring them towards a first EEG reading and comprehension.
